THE LETTING GO
07 -12th October, 2025
There's a dance your body remembers. A rhythm your heart knows by name. A freedom waiting in your bones.
Formentera, SPAIN | 2025
In Formentera, where crystalline waters meet ancient stone, we gather for five days of profound release. This isn't just another yoga retreat. This is a homecoming to your body's deepest wisdom through the ancient chakra system—a map that reveals where you're holding on and guides you gently into letting go.
When the ocean calls you to release

The Daily Journey
The days weave together:
- Intentional chakra practices
- Ocean immersion
- Slow intuitive movement
- Sunrise meditation
- Art therapy and journaling
- Ceremonial cacao circle
- Sound healing
"There is a dance that you deserve to dance, a freedom that knows your name."

The story you're telling
You're good at holding it together. At making things work. At finding the silver lining. At being driven. But beneath that exterior:
- You're exhausted from the drive.
- You know taking time from yourself to receive love is challenging.
- There's a constant tension between what you "should" do and what your heart whispers.
- You've built a life, but it feels lonely.
- You're tired of abandoning yourself to keep others comfortable.
- The voice inside that says "where is the meaning" gets clearer every day.
- You're surrounded by people but feel profoundly alone.
- Your body holds years of "making it work" in your shoulders, your jaw, your heart.
The hardest truth? Sometimes letting go isn't about releasing what's wrong — it's about having the courage to release what's "good enough" to make space for what's truly yours.
Why this, why now
Seven years ago, I faced the hardest letting go of my life. I was married to a wonderful man who loved me deeply, who I loved deeply. Our life together was beautiful by any outside measure. But my body knew — in that deep, wordless way bodies do — that I was meant for a different path. The choice to leave my husband wasn't about escaping something bad. It was about having the courage to release something good to become more fully myself. To choose myself. To trust the knowing in my bones even when it made no logical sense.
And from that moment I've been on a journey upward spiraling into the fullness of who I am. Not always easy. But always trusting my body, that letting go is as important as grabbing hold. And we have to know when to go.
That journey taught me that letting go isn't something we do once. It's a practice. A continuous dance of becoming more fully ourselves. Of listening to our bodies' wisdom. Trusting what's meant for us makes space for itself by helping us release what isn't.
Now, Pawo Yoga Retreats remain a place where not only I, but we guide change for each other and through practice, a sacred letting go unfolds personally and together. Maybe a relationship. A job. A past. A sadness. A cage. An identity. Whatever it is, regularly letting go, surrendering, dropping back into full faith with nature and being with in this ancient system of Yoga, allows you and your body to connect with insights, sounds and signs of knowing.
The ancient wisdom of the chakra system is our navigation map in this week, and through the healing power of the land, the ocean and the soft autumn sun, through the container of shared ceremony — we remember to choose ourselves. To welcome what is waiting in the winds whispering a deep intuitive calling. To let go with love.

The intentions during retreat
Imagine returning home
- Feeling light in your body and grounded in your mind
- Finally trusting yourself to know what's yours and what isn't
- Moving through life with grace instead of force
- Speaking your truth without shrinking
- Choosing yourself without guilt
- Living from your center instead of your edges
It's a quiet revolution of coming home to yourself. Of knowing, in your bones, that you can trust yourself. That you can let go with love. That you can become more fully yourself with each breath.
The practice through movement will be sequenced with intention to work inside the soma (sensations of your body) with longer holds, more time to explore mindful movement and what freedom the postures can offer.
Our bodies being moved in this way allows the chakras to become relatable through the organs, muscle groups and breath. This agreement between the body and the breath enhances any kind of exercise and our movement through life.
The chakra map offers you a blue print of your body mind connection. This understanding offers a deeper experience within, allowing consciousness to expand from authenticity and personal place of practice.
