"That's when I first learned that yoga wasn't about the poses — it was about coming home."
I have a vivid, early memory of hanging from my mom in a yoga pose at the age of 4 on our farm in South Africa. She was teaching her friends and the community yoga. It wasn't a church, and there was no gym for miles, but in our small town, this unconventional gathering was its own kind of sacred.
I remember the smell of ginger beer she'd make afterward, the sweat on the women's faces, and the quiet bravery in every session. I remember how women would enter, and then how they would leave transformed (kids have a deep intuition when it comes to a person's energy, and I just knew these women felt different when they left).

...this feeling of safety and home and nurturing inside yourself is the absolute peak human experience.
It wasn't just yoga — they were coming back to themselves. My mom, though she wasn't certified, taught them to reconnect with their bodies, with their breath, and with a part of themselves they'd forgotten existed. That's when I first learned that yoga wasn't about the poses — it was about coming home.
So, you could say I was born into this. Or born for this. I've known from very, very young that this feeling of safety and home and nurturing inside yourself is the absolute peak human experience.
Since then, my life's work has been about guiding others back to that home inside of them — the place where they can feel safe, grounded, and whole. I've taught over 50 retreats worldwide, helping people reconnect with their nature, their body, and their truth. I watch people come in, and then then leave transformed.

Kind Words
Having been in attendance of Liz's classes since 2015, she definitely has a passion which is unmatched by most if not all yoga teachers. I would class her as a guide & a facilitator who shares her wisdom thought deep personal work.
One thing for sure is that Liz has done the hard work, whilst she has the knowledge & knows the theories, she's not been afraid to take the work head on and put it into practice. She holds space with the wisdom that we are all on our own journey so whilst trusting that the path is there, we are invited to release and let go of past patterns to allow space for clearance to take place. Liz has this beautifully passionate way of holding space with complete honesty, there is no smoke & mirrors with the lessons she teaches. She's been there, she's trusted the process & can prove that the clarity comes from dong the deep work.
When in the room with Liz, you can't help but feel her passion. Her soul is mesmerising & her energy is infectious. Yet there is no ego, no hierarchy - she doesn't wear the work like a badge of honour. Everything that Liz emanates is through the truth of understanding yourself through yoga.
There is no-one else I'd prefer to learn from than Liz due to her unwavering belief in doing the work herself to have a true understanding of the ground on which she is teaching from.
